Day 3 - Friggin Family Time at the Cabin

Day 3 - Sunday July 3, 2016

Today was a relaxation day with a planned visit to the cabin on the creek for the Fourth of July celebration and also to celebrate my grandmother's 95th birthday, and my aunt Kate's birthday that is in a few days.

We started with a bike ride to Williamsport around the beautiful Susquehanna river.  Not real used to hills yet, but it definitely got the blood flowing and the heart pumping.  A quick stop at the dam to check out the fish ladder among numerous spider webs, and we were off to try and find me a decent pair of aqua shoes at Kohl's.

Times are always awesome for these Lutz get-togethers. This year we were able to get up with my cousin Angie, her husband Todd and their two young uns. Lots of good times were had on the cold water for the kiddos as the adults sat around the fire and spent a good amount of time figuring how to move stones and add a step to the front door of the cabin. I also learned it's a Lutz trait to burn wood.  Todd likes fire. Todd likes fire a lot! Todd also likes to forage. I think he cleaned the woods nearby with fallen timber.

We also got to see my uncles Ron, and Aunt Audry (whom I haven't seen in at least a decade), Chris and Alisa, uncle Cool J(erry) and uncle Lanny and Aunt Bonnie.  Talk of fishing and the prior years activities made for a great time. I like easy days. Today was one of them.
